It wasn't Harvey Dent that woke up in bed this morning (sorry, Brooke) but Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law!

...That pretty much meant a 6'6" dude with big wings, a superhero mask and a business suit hopped out of bed this morning.

"AVENGER!" Harvey shouted, standing on his bed dramatically. "MY PERSONAL DIGITAL ASSISTANT!"

Out of nowhere, a purple eagle flew in and dropped a PDA into Harvey's hands.

"I wonder what's on the ol' daily planner today," Harvey said, poking at it for a moment. "Avenger! How do make a "t" again? Do you cross it or...with the lines..."

The bird CAW'd at him a couple times.

"No, no, that's what I was doing. Oh, I got it. No, wait, this is my e-mail. Potamus wants to know if I got that thing he sent me," Harvey mumbled. After a moment Harvey gave up and tossed the PDA behind him. "Whatever! I'm sure if I have a case Peanut will let me know. He's a great clerk!"

Peanut was a terrible clerk.

"What do you say about me and you getting some burgers, buddy?" Harvey asked. Avenger nodded eagerly. "To...THE BURGER PLACE!"

And with that, Harvey bounded out of the room.

Okay, so, there's something funky going on with my internet connection. It suddenly cuts out saying that my connection is unplugged and then doesn't come back for hours (oh jeez, I hope it comes back in a couple hours) and I'm not sure if my computer just sucks or if there's something weird about my connection or what. Either is possible as my computer is very old and I live in the woods and raccoons could have been eating stuff other than my trash. So I don't know what's going on.

So what I'm trying to say is that there will be a chance that I could be gone for hours at a time without giving warning. Honestly, this hurts me more than it hurts you. Unless you've got some weird obsession with me. Then, yeah, it'll probably hurt you more. If it's not back by tomorrow I will be hanging out in several wireless-friendly places so I can at least ping into weddinglyness and put Caritas up so no worries there.

*clings to the internets*

Harvey was in the common room kitchen, whipping up some mac and cheese. He wasn't the best cook and usually he stuck with grilled cheese but he decided to take a chance and be adventurous today.

Really, the foreboding music should have been a giveaway that this wasn't a good idea.

For those of you who haven't had the horror pleasure of me squeeing about it: Tomorrow afternoon I'm going to Las Vegas to belatedly celebrate my 21st birthday. I shall be gone until laaaaaaaaaaate Monday evening/early Tuesday morning. Net access? I'm not entirely sure so right now we're gonna go with a "no". I'm sure I'll survive somehow.

As for the state of my kids: Chuck will be going back to NYC to visit his boyfriend boyfriend, Harvey has the flu (I trust Lee can handle StuCo presidential duties while I'm gone :D I have been assured that he can indeed see Russia from his house ), Lois is just lying low and Marshall will be around and can be modded by his wife.

So. That's it. I'll try not to end up in jail. If I do I'll have to rely on some of you West Coasters to come bust me out *eyes fake wife* I'm just saying, keep the car full of gas and stock up on rubber ducks, tube socks, rope and powdered sugar.

Harvey didn't notice he had new girly parts until about he was half-way to his closet. That's when his shorts fell down. There was a swift picking up of pants and then after a brief comical "Did I really just see what I saw?" look he let out a high-pitched scream.

This was a nightmare.

It was a nice morning and Harvey decided to go for a short walk in the park. He was headed towards the playground, flipping his coin as he walked.

Harvey arrived in Fandom shortly before he had to go to his first class of the day. It wasn't his fault that the timing was so bad. If he had it his way he would have arrived in Fandom on Saturday like everybody else. It was his parents fault for wanting to spend the long weekend being all clingy and parent-y. As much as Harvey appreciated the thought, he really would have rather been here with all the rest of the new kids. Now he just felt newer than everybody else.

He tossed his lone duffel bag on the spare bed in the room he was assigned and took a look around. He had the feeling that his roommate was a girl when he read the name "Brooke" on the paper they gave him but now, looking around the other side of the room, he could tell that his suspicions had been confirmed. He didn't know whether to be really excited or really worried about that.

[Yep, Harvey has arrived. The door's open so roomies, big siblings and anybody else can stop by before he goes to class]

For Chuck, Lois, Marshall and *pets shiny* Harvey.

Hopefully this will be my last one for a while because after this weekend my friends will be appeased and I can go back to being the not-smelly, beardless hermit I aspire to be.

Sooooooooo on Friday I'm leaving to spend the weekend in Towson with friends, doing things that us good college students do. You know, like studying. And I won't have the time or computer to spend time on the internet. Yes, I know. I'll be missing newbie day. I'm sad about it too. Chuck and Lois will be hiding from the newbies and Marshall will be around...doing whatever is Marshall does. I assume that means eating and thinking up ways to catch Nessie. As always, slapbetcommish can mod him if she wants. JUST DON'T BE USING HIS BUTT AS A BUG-SQUASHER ANYMORE.

Harvey won't be arriving in town until I get back on Sunday. So the roomie and the big sibling will have to sit tight until then.

So in conclusion, Harvey’s a nice guy, has a two-headed coin and has a pretty face. For now. I just ask that any DC characters (all two of you. Why doesn’t DC get any love?) who know about the Harvey/Two-Face connection don’t tell him. That would ruin all of the Joker’s fun and that wouldn't be very nice.
